Your responsibilities
- Surgical care across the visceral surgery spectrum, both open and laparoscopic
- Supervising the Assistenzärzte (residents) in theatre and on the ward
- Contributing to the certified bowel cancer centre
- Taking part in the department's on-call service

Salary according to the collective agreement
9.459,56 – 10.015,53 € per month
Basic salary under the TV-Ärzte/VKA, Ä3, levels 1 to 2, based on 40 hours per week. Excluding on-site standby duty, on-call duty, allowances and pool participation. The number of duties per month is shown in the fact sheet below.
That comes to 113.515 – 120.186 € per year, calculated as 12 monthly salaries without the annual bonus payment.

About the hospital
A maximum-care hospital with a supra-regional trauma centre and a central emergency department handling around 60,000 cases a year. The surgical specialties work together in shared centres.
