At klinovo, the salary is stated in every advert. The database does not allow an advert to be published without a salary. Along with working hours, the overtime rules and the induction.
Questions and answers
Gross, specifically the monthly basic salary under the collective agreement. It does not include on-site on-call duty, on-call standby, allowances, a share of the private patient pool or the annual special payment. With several duties a month, that makes a considerable difference. How many duties a position involves is stated in every klinovo advert.
No. What counts are the years within the respective pay group. Anyone who moves up from Assistenzarzt to Oberarzt after ten years starts again at step 1 in group Ä3. The salary still rises, because Ä3 starts at a higher level.
No. It covers the TV-Ärzte/VKA for municipal hospitals and AVR Caritas Annex 30 for Catholic providers. State university hospitals apply the TV-Ärzte/TdL, and private chains often have an in-house collective agreement; those tables are not yet covered. Which collective agreement applies to a specific position is stated in the klinovo advert.
That is not set out in any pay table. Chefärztinnen and Chefärzte are paid outside the collective agreement, usually with a basic salary plus a share of private patient services. A Chefarzt position therefore cannot be advertised as paying "according to the collective agreement"; at klinovo, the employer has to state a separate salary range for it.
The pay table shown has applied since 01.06.2026. The amounts are taken to the cent from the published table and are not rounded. A new version is recorded after every round of collective bargaining; older versions remain available so that it is clear what applied while an advert was running.
