Pay under collective agreements

How much does a midwife earn?

Under the collective agreement, basic pay ranges from 4.402,74 € to 5.362,16 € per month, depending on the pay group, step and collective agreement. The range comes from one collective agreement, which we have recorded in full. Allowances for night, weekend and public holiday shifts are added on top and are not included in these tables.

Midwives employed by hospitals are paid according to the collective agreement. Self-employed midwives invoice under the Hebammen-Vergütungsvereinbarung, which is not shown here.
